Judiciary should work within it demarcated area and should not interfere in the working of Parliament and government.
This was stated by Chief Justice of India S.H. Kapadia while addressing a Law Day function in New Delhi today. He said that independent Judiciary is the foremost requirement of a developing society.
Mr. Kapadia said that Judiciary should play a more constructive role for the inclusive growth of the country.
The Chief Justice of Supreme Court said that judiciary is not against its fare-minded and relevent criticism. He emphasized that integrity and excellence are the two most significant features of the Indian Judiciary.
Talking to reporters on the side lines of the function Law Minister Salman Khurshid said that government is working to accelerate the Judicial appointment system in the country.
