Judiciary & Executive to work in tandem with each other to reduce pendency in courts, says Law Minister Kiren Rijiju

<span style="color: #222222;">Law Minister Kiren Rijiju today, January 24, stressed that the only way to reduce pendency in courts is for the judiciary and executive to work in tandem with each other. </span><br />''<br />''Speaking at the felicitation of award winners of the e-courts Project in New Delhi, the Minister said there is a  need to ensure speedy delivery of justice. He said there are four crore 90 lakh pending cases in the country. He added that it is a large number and pendency means denial of justice and delay of justice.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said E-courts is an ambitious project and it is in the final stage. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been more than positive for the project and is proactive in providing assistance and fulfilling the demands of the judiciary.</span><br />
