In Kerala, a magistrate's court in Ambalapuzha today remanded Prasobh Sugatnan, Second Officer of MV Prabhu Daya, the Singapore flagged vessel suspected to be involved in the mid-sea collision with a fishing boat, to 14 day's judicial custody.He was produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court at Ambalapuzha this morning.Prasobh was taken into custody by the Kerala police at the Thiruvananthapuram Airport yesterday, soon after his arrival from Colombo. He is the third crew member who has been arrested in connection with the case.Police had earlier arrested the ship's captain Gordon Charles Pereira and another crew member Virendra Kumar Chauhan.It may be recalled that the mid-sea collision that took place on March 1, claimed the lives of five fishermen.
