Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram today inaugurated 11th National Tribal Crafts Mela Aadishilp in Delhi. More than 90 tribal artisans from all over the country are showcasing the unique and exquisite tribal artefacts at the fare at INA Dilli Haat which will remain till 11th of this month. Speaking on the occasion the Minister said this kind of exhibitions provide tribal artisans an important platform to showcase their valuable artefacts. <br/><br/>TRIFED Executive Director S.K Gullaiya said the main objective of organising Aadishilp is to give tribal artisans an opportunity to showcase and sell their traditional art and craft works directly to the customers and get their valuable feedback. He said Aadishilp provides them a platform for direct interface with art and craft lovers, share their talent with the urban elite and know the customers taste and preferences.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that hand crafted items, handloom products, dry flowers, cane and bamboo products, tribal jewellery, Dhokra craft, tribal weaves and embroidery, tribal paintings and lot more are being presented by these artisans in the exhibition.
