Jt. Secy. (Bangladesh-Myanmar) in MEA terms the summit between PM Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina very fruitful

<span style="color: #222222;">Joint Secretary (Bangladesh-Myanmar) in MEA Smita Pant said, the summit between PM Narendra Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, was very fruitful. She said, the joint inauguration of Chilahati-Haldibari rail link today is particularly important and we accept the movement of goods to happen soon. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Joint Secretary said, as far as the movement of passenger traffic is concerned, modalities are under discussion. Ms Pant said, PM Modi has accepted PM Sheikh Hasina's invitation to visit Bangladesh on March 26th, 2021. She informed that sharing of water of Teesta and other rivers and issues related to fisheries were discussed. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ms Pant said, at the bilateral summit, both sides agreed and highlighted the need for safe, early, and sustainable repatriation of displaced persons from Rakhine state back to Myanmar. She said, India also appreciates and understands the humanitarian burden being faced by Bangladesh while hosting more than 1 million displaced persons.</span><br />''
