Government says that a Joint Parliamentary Committee will be constituted before Wednesday to probe the 2G scam. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal made this announcement. In response to questions, he said JPC is set up to look into only one issue. Giving details of the Business during the session he said that 31 Bills will come up for discussion and passage including the Women Reservation Bill which provides 33 percent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. The Bill has already been passed by the Rajya Sabha. He said Economic Survey and Rail Budget will be presented on the 25th and the General Budget on 28th. The Session will begin on 21st of this month with the address by the President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil to the joint sitting of the two Houses.
