JP Nadda releases BJP's manifesto for Nagaland assembly elections

BJP national president JP Nadda released the party's manifesto for Nagaland assembly elections 2023 in Kohima. State BJP president Temjen Imna Along was also present during the event. The 2023 vision document of the party reflects the ambitions, desires and aspirations of the people of Nagaland. <br />''<br />''The manifesto coined as BJP's Nagaland Sankalp Patra or the vision document 2023. In the manifesto, BJP made several promises which will be catered in the next five years of governance. With an investment of 1,000 crores rupees, the party aims to establish a dedicated Nagaland Cultural Research Fund. The manifesto says an University in Kiphire will be established to promote Naga culture with an investment of  500 crores rupees. The party also set to allocate 100 crores rupees to promote and expand the scope of all major tribal festivals.<br />''<br />''For the welfare and development of the Eastern Nagaland region, the BJP is set to establish an Eastern Nagaland Development Board for the holistic development of the region and will provide a special package for the development of Eastern Nagaland.  <br />''<br />''Apart from this, empowerment of women and youth, good governance, boosting health care, agriculture and farmer welfare, economic development basic infrastructure, inclusive development and promoting tourism are the other highlights of the BJP's Nagaland Sankalp Patra.<br />''<br />''Mr Nadda said, the vision document for Nagaland 2023 have taken care of many issues and represented all the "Asthalaxmi" focussing on peace, power, tourism, 5G connectivity, culture, natural farming, sports and potential, to form that in coming days what Nagaland will be going to do under NDPP and BJP alliance. He opined that Nagaland today is in the path of normalcy, peace, prosperity, development, and consolidation.  <br />''<br />''The party also promised to provide free of cost, quality education to all female students from Kindergarten to Post Graduate. It also assured to provide two free of cost LPG cylinders to all Ujjwala Beneficiaries every year, including CM free Scooty Scheme for meritorious college-going female students.<br />''<br />''For the youth empowerment, the BJP party promises to provide digital tablets to all meritorious students of classes 10 and 12, establish Dr. Imkongliba Ao State university, state sports university. In health sector, they assured to introduce state cancer prevention and treatment policy and invest 400 crore set up a super speciality cancer hospital and research centre in Zunheboto.<br />''<br />''Among the inclusive development, the party promised to establish an Eastern Nagaland Development Board, special package for the development of Eastern Nagaland, to provide free rice and wheat monthly and 5kg of black chickpeas and one litre of mustard oil per family quarterly at a subsidised rate to all Public Distribution system.<br />
