In Tripura, the Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched the second phase of National rota virus vaccination under universal immunisation program in Agartala today. With this program today, the Rotavac drive has also been launched across five states such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Tamil Nadu, and Tripura. <br/> <br/>Mr Nadda said, launching of Rotavac vaccination from Tripura is a message that the central government focuses upon North East region. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given utmost importance upon development of this region.<br/><br/>Referring to the plea of the state health Minister Badal Chowdhury, Mr Nadda said, the Centre will consider the proposal to allow students write exam papers in Bengali under undergraduate medical entrance test from Agartala centre. Besides, the State has also demanded a centre in Agartala for Medical PG entrance examination and a centre of Indian Council of Medical Research.
