<span style="color: #222222;">BJP National President J. P. Nadda, who arrived late last night by a charter flight in Manipur, concluded his day-long election campaign in the state. The General Election of Manipur Legislative Assembly is likely to be held early next year and leaders of different national political parties are trying their best to woo the voters for their candidates.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mr Nadda attended different programmes since the early morning and had a hectic schedule. In the morning, he met sportspersons and ex-servicemen at Imphal. In the afternoon session, he attended an election rally held in Thoubal district and a Go To Village 2.0 campaign in Bishnupur district. The Go to Village campaign is an initiative of BJP-led State Government in which assistance is given to the selected beneficiaries under schemes at the spot. He also visited Khongjom War Memorial and led in offering floral tribute to those freedom fighters who laid their lives in Anglo-Manipur War in 1891.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' While speaking at the event in Bishnupur district, the BJP leader said that the BJP-led Government, within a short period of five years, has been able to fulfil the long-standing demands of the people of Manipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP party always believed that the development of the country could not be achieved without the development of the North East Region including Manipur.<br />''<br />''Appreciating the initiative of the Go To Village campaign, the BJP National President said that benefits given under different schemes of the government are directly handed over to the beneficiaries during the event.
