A CBI court in Mumbai recorded the deposition of a scientific expert, Edward Burns from US via a video link in connection with the killing of journalist J Dey. Edward had compared the actual image of the bike used in the killing with its CCTV footage and concluded that both carried resemblance. <br/><br/>Special public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat informed the court that it was the first time that image-comparison technology was being used to corroborate evidence. With Edward's deposition today, the prosecution completed its examination of witnesses. <br/><br/><br/>A total of 154 witnesses were examined in the case. Dey, a veteran crime journalist, was shot dead 11th June, 2011. Gangster Chhota Rajan is among the prime accused in the case.
