Jordanian King Abdullah and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas have called for effective steps to protect the Holy shrines in Baitul Maqdas. The call has been made during a meeting between the two leaders in the Jordanian capital, Amman. They said the Holy shrines are threatened by Israel's unilateral hostile actions.During their discussion, the Palestine President briefed the Jordanian King about the outcome of his recent talks with European leaders and latest move by the US to ensure a resumption of peace negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel.
