King Abdullah of Jordan has dissolved the country's Parliament and ordered for fresh general elections. In a decree, he asked the government to take necessary steps to hold elections two years ahead of its term.<br/><br/>Parliamentary elections were held in Jordan on November 20 in 2007 to elect representatives to the Chamber of Deputies of Jordan. It has 110 seats spread over 45 regional electoral districts, 3 closed tribal electoral districts and one national woman quota district.<br/>
