The West Bengal Government is planning to start second phase of joint operations with the Jharkhand Government to tackle the Maoist menace in the Jungle Mahal area of the state. Director-General of Police Naparajito Mukhopadhyay told newsmen in Kolkata on Friday that the state police recently had a meeting with its Jharkhand counterpart in this regard. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee offered government job to the Maoists, who will surrender before the administration to return mainstream of life. She firmly said the Government would not tolerate killings of innocent people by Maoists. Banerjee also announced jobs to the families of the victims, who were killed in Maoist attacks in the state.””
