A joint leaders' statement of the ASEAN member countries and six partners namely Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand was adopted on Regional Comprehensive of Economic Partnership (RCEP). India has supported the statement and committed to support an inclusive, equitable & balanced framework. The RCEP negotiations will target for a modern, comprehensive, high-quality and mutually beneficial economic partnership. <br/><br/>They look forward to continue progress including through positive and constructive responses to market access requests. They reaffirm the potential of an RCEP agreement to boost business confidence, benefit customers, reinforce the RCEP region's contribution to global growth and the deepening of regional economic integration and equitable economic development for all participating countries.
