In Kashmir valley, two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen have been eliminated today in an encounter at Thokarpura in Kulgam district. The encounter started this morning when Police, CRPF and Rashtriya Rifles launched a joint operation on specific information. Police sources told AIR that so far two militants have been killed; one of them has been identified as Maulvi Ashraf. The identity of other militant is being ascertained. The encounter was on when reports last came in.
