All the members of the core group of the Indian hockey team have opened a joint bank account in Bhopal for financial help for the needy players. Skipper Surinder Kaur said, the decision is collective and all the players have endorsed the idea. The players have also decided to sport black badge from today during practice session as a mark of protest against non payment of their dues. The team is preparing in the Sports Authority of India regional centre at Bhopal for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games and the World Cup.
