A court in Jodhpur has sent the controversial Godman Asaram Bapu, accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl to one day police custody. Jodhpur Police had sought two days police custody. Asaram was flown to Jodhpur today after being arrested from his Ashram in Indore last night. Jodhpur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph told reporters a shortwhile ago that the controversial godman is cooperating as of now in investigations. He said that all steps would be taken to prevent any breakdown of law and order.
