Government told Rajya Sabha today, security will be provided to Jawaharlal Nehru Students' Union President Kanhaiya Kumar, in the wake of threats to his life. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told agitating opposition members, the investigating agency will also probe the role of certain media organisations in airing interpolated video of the controversial speech of Kanhaiya Kumar. <br/><br/>Kumar was arrested for sedition and criminal conspiracy by Delhi Police for allegedly raising anti-national slogans on the basis of these video aired by certain channels, but granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court.
