Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union, JNUSU, president Kanhaiya Kumar today met Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi at his residence. Kanhaiya was accompanied by a student's delegation. This is the first time that Mr Gandhi has met Kanhaiya after the latter was booked under sedition charges following the uproar over alleged anti-national slogans at JNU. The JNUSU president was sent to jail and later released on bail. Rahul Gandhi had come out in support for Kanhaiya amid the unrest at JNU last month.
