JNU row: Left parties to hold nationwide protest against RSS & BJP

Left parties have decided to hold a nationwide protest next week against the alleged anti-national tag being given to them by RSS and BJP. The decision was taken at a meeting of six Left parties which was held in New Delhi today. Talking to reporters CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that the protests will be held between February 23 and 25.<br/><br/>He said a delegation comprising leaders of Left parties and MPs from JD(U), RJD and NCP will call on President Pranab Mukherjee seeking his intervention in the JNU row. Mr Yechury also demanded that JNU Student Union President Kanhaiya Kumar must be released forthwith.
