In Jammu & Kashmir, three militants were killed in a gunfight with security forces which broke out early morning today in central Kashmir's Budgam district. Security sources told AIR that the identity and group affiliation of the killed militants is being ascertained and they may be most likely LeT or Jaish militants.<br/>'<br/>Earlier, a fierce gunfight between militants and security forces broke out in the central Kashmir village of Putlipora near Pakherpora area.The army, paramilitary and SOG of J&K Police contingents cordoned off the area on the basis of specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants. As the contingents moved closer to the suspected area, it was fired upon triggering a gunfight.' <br/>'<br/>Meanwhile, sources told AIR that a fresh gunfight has raged in Sagipora forest area in north Kashmir's Sopore in Baramulla district this afternoon.
