<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Withan aim to mitigate the Coronavirus pandemic, Jammu and Kashmir State LegalServices Authority (JKSLSA) through its innovative and empathetic measures areoffering services at doorsteps. It has initiated a series of awarenessprogrammes, wherein Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteer (PLVs) weresensitized about the Pandemic and the precautions required to be taken to avoidits infection and spread. Since the onset of the pandemic crises, JKSLSA hasorganised 354 camps in the UT of J&K educating 38, 058 people, whereas, 60camps were organised in UT of Ladakh benefiting about  800 people. . The programmes organized byLegal Services Institutions pertained to publicity through print and electronicmedia about Coronavirus and measures to contain it by individual and collectiveprecautions issued by the Government from time to time. Moreover, the LegalServices Institutions coordinated with the Municipal Corporations and LocalBodies in sanitizing the areas and distributed sanitization kits and masks tomasses.</span></p>''<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Postoffices across Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are leavingno stone unturned to provide services to the people. Post offices are operatingwith the primary objective of facilitating financial transactions- easywithdrawals and deposits of funds so that the people can have sufficient cashflow to fulfil their day to day requirements. Aadhaar enabled Payment System(AePS) has also been enabled at the post offices so that people can withdraw upto Rs 10000/- per month from any Post office. To achieve the objective ofsocial distancing and to prevent crowding at the post offices steps have beentaken to ensure door step delivery of pension to the elderly pensioners andpayment under various welfare pensions is being delivered at the doorstep ofthe pensioners.
