In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces gunned down one terrorist in an encounter that started this afternoon in Arnas area of Reasi district. Acting on a tip off, the troops of army and police launched a search operation in the forests of Dhanal area. The ultras started indiscriminate firing on seeing the troops. The forces retaliated vigorously in which one of the terrorists was killed. Heavy exchange of fire was going on when reports last came in. The identity of the slain ultra has not been ascertained yet. Details are awaited.
