In Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Verma has directed Deputy Commissioners of Border districts and executing agencies to expedite the pace of work on construction of bunkers for their timely completion. He passed these directions while chairing a meeting of DCs of border districts to review the progress on construction of bunkers and other related issues in Jammu Division.<br />''<br />''The Deputy Commissioners apprised him about the progress of works on under construction individual and community bunkers in their respective districts. It was informed that 6,581 bunkers have been completed so far across the border districts, including 5,867 individual bunkers and 714 community bunkers. It was informed that 1,387 bunkers, including community and individual bunkers have been completed in Samba, 974 in  Jammu, 1,249 in Kathua, 2,254 in Rajouri and 717 in Poonch district. It was further informed that remaining bunkers are also at different stages of construction.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The concerned officers informed about the number of bunkers at foundation level, superstructure level and slab level.
