J'khand to get Rs 2 lakhs 50,000 crores as revenue from coal: Piyush Goyal

Union Coal Minister Piyush Goyal has said that Jharkhand is expected to get two lakhs fifty thousands crores rupees as revenue from coal over next thirty years as royalty due to new policy adopted by the Union Government by which all the money from coal auctions would entirely be given to the respective states where the mines are located. Speaking to media in Ranchi today, Mr. Goyal said that works on a new Engineering College in Hazaribagh, which would cost 100 crores rupees and road constructions of 500 crores rupees in Jharkhand by the Central PSU NTPC are to start soon. He added that all these are old sanctioned projects, works of which were neglected by the earlier government.
