<br/>In Jharkhand, five policemen were killed and as many injured in a Maoists attack in Latehar district on Friday. An official said that the incident took place at the Kutmu More area when the van of the security forces, who were returning from patrolling, drove over the landmine laid by the rebels. <br/><br/>While five policemen died on the spot, the injured were rushed to a hospital in Medininagar, the headquarter town of Palamu. Latehar SP Kuldeep Dewedi had a narrow escape as the explosive went off minutes after his car passed the road.
