In Jharkhand, Police has recovered over one thousand wired detonators on Ranchi -Patna Highway near Nagwan under Hazaribagh district. Superintend of Police has told our Correspondent that recovery was made after police laid a trap on the National Highway 33 on a tipoff.Our correspondent reports that the recovery of large number of wired detonators from Hazaribagh soon after the busting of a arms supply racket that was trying to send US Army M-16 rifles to the Maoists has added a new dimension to the insurgency problem. The NIA team has completed its preliminary investigation. Police sources have told us that apart from the connections of North -East insurgent groups with the Jharkhand Maoits, international angle to the arms and explosive supply has clearly emerged.
