J&K UT: Samba District DC reviews J&K Health Card (Insurance) Scheme implementation

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Samba District Deputy Commissioner Rohit Khajuria today convened a meeting of medical and revenue officers to review J&K Health Card (Insurance) Scheme implementation and measures to be taken therein.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that J&K Health Insurance Scheme provides for universal health insurance to all the residents of the Union Territory.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In the Samba district, 81 CSS Centres are active and 84,000 registrations have been recorded so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The DC directed the concerned officers to organize camps at different locations for maximizing the ambit of the Health Card Scheme.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Moreover, random sampling for COVID-19 shall also be carried out in each block of the district under a team headed by Tehsildar and concerned Block Medical Officer as the District Administration has formulated a weekly roaster for random sampling across the district.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The DDC laid emphasis upon carrying out sampling of shopkeepers, municipal workers, labourers, industrial workers and other under service provider sector.</span><br />''
