J&K UT Govt evacuates about 4,77,721 residents stranded in other states

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu & Kashmir, following the evacuation process of J&K residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to Covid-19 lockdown, the UT Government has so far evacuated about 4,77,721 residents via Lakhanpur through a fleet of buses and through Covid special trains amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The UT administration has received 152 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs with about 1,36,967 passengers while about 3,40,754 persons from other states and UTs including 934 from abroad have been evacuated through Lakhanpur via road till date.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides, about 6360 stranded passengers have entered the UT through Lakhanpur during the last 24 hours while 1037 passengers have reached Jammu today in 131st Covid special train from Delhi.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, 131 trains reached Jammu with 121,271 stranded passengers while 15,696 passengers reached Udhampur in 21 special trains, belonging to different districts.</span><br />
