As part of the evacuation process of JK residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID lockdown, the UT administration has so far evacuated more than 2.99 lakh residents via Lakhanpur through road and through special trains amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. <br />''<br />''AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that till today, the UT administration has received 89 trains at Jammu with 76,603 stranded passengers while 15,696 passengers reached Udhampur in 21 special trains belonging to different districts of the UT. <br />''<br />''So far, 110 special trains have reached Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs with 92,299 passengers while about 2,07,241 persons from other states and UTs including 906 from abroad have been evacuated through Lakhanpur via road till date.<br />
