As part of the evaucation process of JK residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID lockdown, the UT adminsitration has evacuated more than 2. 81 lakh stranded residents via Lakhanpur through road and through special trains amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs till date.<br />'' <br />''AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that  about 2,81,351 stranded residents of the UT have been evacuated through 103 special trains and fleet of buses.<br />'' <br />''So far, 82 trains reached Jammu with 70,347 stranded passengers while 86,043 passengers reached Udhampur in 21 special trains.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">About 1,95,308 persons from other states and UTs including 904 from abroad have been evacuated by the government through Lakhanpur till date.</span><br />
