J&K: Union Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar interacts with SHG members at mini-secretariat Kulgam

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Union Minister of State for Education, Dr. Subhas Sarkar who is on a visit to Kulgam under Central Government's Public Outreach Programme whereunder 70 central ministers are visiting J&K with the view to assess the execution of developmental projects and implementation of various welfare schemes in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir besides getting feedback and suggestion from the locals.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">On the 2nd day of his Public Outreach Programme, the Minister held interaction with SHG members and beneficiaries of various schemes at mini-secretariat Kulgam. The Minister was informed that there are 3200 SHG groups under NRLM and 54,000 employments were  generated in different sectors through various self-employment generation schemes in the district. It was also informed that there are 42,000 active job cards and an amount of 14 crores was disbursed this final year and more over 1414 units of PMAY-G were completed in the district.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">While interacting with beneficiaries of PMAY-G, the Minister said that it is dream of Prime Minister Narinder Modi to see every Indian has a house and on the occasion distributed some household items to PMAY-G beneficiaries for Ghar Pravesh.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">He also highlighted initiatives and measures of Government and district Administration Kulgam for Development and promotion of  tourist destination in the district. He said that people must visit this beautiful district and must explore Aharbal, Chiranbal, Malvan Top, Kousarnag, Chirsar, Kousarnag, Chimer Badibehak and other tourist destinations of the district and added that Aharbal in Kulgam witnessed a footfall of near about two lakh tourists in last 9 months.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Minister also handed over Keys and sanction letters of vehicles to beneficiaries under MUMKIN scheme at a distribution function held at mini-secretariat Kulgam.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>
