J&K: Udhampur's first Biogas Plant under Gobardhan Scheme ready for commissioning

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Udhampur's first Biogas Plant under the Gobardhan Scheme is now ready for commissioning in Mongri village, Kambal Danga Panchayat in Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative promises to revolutionize waste management and provide a clean, green fuel source for the community. This project, undertaken by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayti Raj, aims to convert Cow Dung into biogas, a renewable and environment-friendly fuel. Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Kambal Danga, Shashi Pal expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for choosing panchayat Kambal Danga for implementation of Gobardhan Scheme. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai said that the First Bio Gas Plant under Government of India's Gobardhan Scheme has been completed with an estimated cost of 21 Lakhs and would benefit 17 families.</span></p>
