J&K: Udhampur identifies 3100 poor students under Back to School initiative

In the Union of Jammu and Kashmir, under the Back to School initiative commenced in year 2019, district administration, Udhampur has identified 3100 students, hailing from a very poor background.<br />''<br />''AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that 2095 of these students have been enrolled in the school which increased the overall district enrollment ratio by 2.6 percent. Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr. Piyush Singla has said, under this Back to School initiative, the administration provides a bridge coursebook that helps these students to cope up with their peers.<br />''<br />''Even in the  Covid-19 situation, community schooling is also being run for the benefit of the students, where one teacher per five students has been allocated and two hundred teachers have been trained especially for this purpose.<br />
