Jammu and Kashmir will host 6-day-long 57th National School Games Football Boys U-17 at Srinagar from September 15. As many as 20 teams comprising 600 players and 100 supporting officials from across the country are expected to participate in the games.This was disclosed by the minister for Youth Services and Sports R S Chib during a high level meeting convened at Srinagar to finalize the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the games. The games organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the aegis of School Games Federation of India. The minister called upon the concerned departments and organizers to ensure close coordination to make the event a grand success.A committee was also constituted to look into the boarding, lodging and other provisions during the event.
