Reiterating the Government’s resolve to speed up development through fast track system, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand said that numerous welfare schemes and programmes have been launched to transform development profile of the State. The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing a rally after meeting of the officers at Khour in border township of Akhnoor in Jammu Division. Describing infrastructure development as paramount priority, Mr. Tara Chand laid stress on time bound completion of development projects which have been under taken in various sectors. Calling upon unemployed youth of the State to take maximum benefit from the Sher-i-Kashmir Employment Policy, Mr. Tara Chand said the comprehensive policy is aimed at encouraging youth to start their own ventures by offering them sops. He said thousands of youth are being given voluntary service allowance under the policy.
