In Jammu & Kashmir, Shailendra Dashora, an Indian Postal Service (IPoS) Officer of 1989 batch joined as the new Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir Circle in Jammu today. AIR correspondent reports that Dashora was welcomed by Gaurav Srivastava, Director of Postal Services (Headquarters), J&K. Soon after taking over as Chief Post Master General, J&K Circle, Dashora reviewed the functioning of Postal Department in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He expressed confidence that the Department of Posts will continue to work as an arm of Central Government in implementing various Centrally sponsored public welfare schemes across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh besides providing savings & traditional postal services. </span><br />
