In Jammu and Kashmir, a series of special awareness camps were organised across the Kashmiri migrants' camps in Jammu. The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) J&K, in collaboration with the J&K Bank, organised special awareness camps on Sunday at Jagti, Nagrota, Muthi, and Purkoo migrant camps under the LGs SSS (Self Employment, Skill Development/Scholarship and Social Assistance/Sports) Campaign, to aware the beneficiaries about various Government Schemes. <br />''<br />''During the camps the residents were acquainted with self-employment schemes, provided varied government services. Officers from the Line Departments viz Industries, Social Welfare, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Employment, KVIB, Labour, Handicraft, and Handloom gave awareness about various Government schemes in the Camp. The departments also enrolled beneficiaries and gave detailed information about self-employment generation schemes. Besides, a team of J&K Bank Officers Advances and concerned branch heads also attended these camps and gave awareness about the various services offered by the J&K Bank. The J&K Bank also sanctioned 117 cases of self-employment on spot involving an amount of Rs 2.47 crore and assured sanction of more cases in the coming week. A team of doctors from Ayush Department held free health checkups and examined more than 500 persons. Free medicines were distributed to the patients.<br />
