In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces gunned down two militants in Doda District in the wee hours today. Defence PRO Leutenant Colonial Bipalav Nath said, acting on a tip of the troops of Army and Police, started a search operation in Karan-di-Dhar forest area of Doda district late last night. The militants fired on the security personnel and in the retaliatory gunfire, the security personnel killed the two militants on the spot. Police recovered arms and ammunition including one self loading rifle, one 3.3 rifle and a digital pistol.
