In Jammu and Kashmir Security forces on Wednesday smashed a militant hideout in border district of Poonch district in Jammu Division and recovered arms and ammunition including two IEDs.According to official sources, acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and CRPF launched search operations in Arai forest belt in Mandi block of the district and came across a hideout which was being used by the militants.The hideout was destroyed by the troops who recovered two IEDs weighing 3-kg each, two RPG shells and a UBGL grenade.AIR correspondent reports that, with this recovery the security forces have foiled a nefarious plan of militants to carry out strikes in the border district.
