In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have busted a terrorist hideout in Chhatru region of Kishtwar district and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition. <br/><br/>Defence sources told AIR that based on specific intelligence input, Army launched a joint operation with J&K Police in Hilnar area of Chhatru tehsil yesterday. The team came upon a suspicious natural cave. On further probing and digging, forces recovered one AK-47, one Pistol with Magazine, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher, seven Grenades of Under Barrel Grenade Launcher, two Chinese Hand Grenades, three AK-47 Magazines, 428 rounds of 7.62mm AK-47 and two Kenwood Radio Sets. <br/><br/>This recovery of warlike stores & destruction of the hideout in the sensitive area of Chhatru ahead of Republic Day has delivered a big blow to the nefarious designs of terrorists attempting to disrupt peace in the region.
