<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have closed the Schools upto 9th<b> </b>till 18th of April from tomorrow in view of the rising trend of covid-19 cases. The classes from 10th to 12th have been closed for one week from tomorrow. Apart from this, all the  gatherings for social and customary functions in the Union  Territory have been restricted to 200 only after following the necessary Covid SoPs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, 501 new positive cases were reported in Jammu and Kashmir during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 393 cases were reported from Kashmir Division while 108 cases were reported from Jammu division pushing the active positive cases now in the Union Territory to 3574 which were less than were only 600 a few weeks ago.</span><br />''  <br />
