J&K releases Rs 33.48 cr fund for roads

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has released an amount of 33.48 crore rupees under Central Road Fund for execution of as many as 27 road schemes in the State. The Chief Engineers of R&B, Kashmir and Jammu division have been asked to ensure the utilization of funds strictly as per the approved outlay with special thrust on physical achievements on the ground in a fixed time frame. The release of funds will ensure speedy progress of work on 27 road projects including widening and upgradation the roads across the state especially those in far-flung areas.
