<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, the recruitment drive for Territorial Army is underway in Srinagar. According to Commanding Officer, R.R.Sharma , about 6,500 youth appeared for screening and physical tests and approximately 550 youth were shortlisted. He said that these shortlisted youth will be inducted into 162 Territorial Army after undergoing all examinations. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Commanding Officer said that hundreds of youth in the Valley arrived at the military recruitment centre to be a part of Indian Army adding the soldiers on duty had to work hard to control these youth.  He said that this clearly shows the urge and enthusiasm among the Youth of Kashmir Valley to join the army.</span><br />'' <b><span style="color: #222222;"> </span></b><span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Despite terrorists and separatists issuing decree that those joining army and security forces are enemies of Islam, the local youth is not losing the enthusiasm and are coming forward in large numbers to join the Indian Army. Only a couple of days ago, in a recruitment rally which was held in the frontier district of Kupwara, a large number of youth had participated at the venue of the rally to join the  Indian Army. </span><br />
