Governor Nitishwar Kumar on Thursday undertook an extensive visit to central Kashmir's Ganderbal district and inspected various Yatra Transit Camp sites there.<br />''<br />''The Principal Secretary visited various proposed sites for Yatra Transit Camps including proposed site for Yatra Transit Camp near Central University Kashmir Tulamulla, Wandhama Transit Accommodation, Manigam Transit Camp and additional proposed site for Yatra Camp at Chinner Kangan.<br />''<br />''Mr Kumar took on the spot assessment and got first-hand information on the augmentation of staying capacity for the incoming Yatris in the district.<br />''<br />''Principal Secretary said that about eight lakh Yatris are expected to participate in the annual Shri Amarnathji Ji Yatra this year and directed the district administration to ensure the upgradation of all the facilities for the convenient stay of Yatris.<br />''<br />''After inspecting locations proposed for the set up of Yatra Transit Camps, the Principal Secretary passed necessary directions to the District Administration to prepare a comprehensive plan for augmenting the stay capacity and directed to make all necessary arrangements including facilities of sanitation, drinking water and electricity at Yatra transit Camps well in advance.</span><br />
