J&K: Policeman injured in grenade attack by militants

In Jammu & Kashmir, a police personnel was injured today after unidentified militants hurled a grenade on a police party in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. A spokesman in Police Control Room Pulwama told AIR that unidentified militants lobbed grenade towards police patrol party around 03:45 p.m. near Malangpora village Railway Track, which is around 35 Kms in south of Srinagar headquarters. One cop Mukhtar Ahmad sustained minor injuries. He was given first aid and discharged from the local hospital.
