In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Police today claimed to have recovered huge quantities of Narcotics worth crores of rupees during an investigation related to a weapon smuggling case in Karnah area of Kupwara district.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The police said that on 13th of this month, a joint search operation was launched by Kupwara Police and Army's 6 JAK Rifles on a specific input, which culminated in the recovery of arms and ammunition. Five Pistols, 10 Pistol magazines, five Grenades, 4.9 mm 138 rounds were recovered.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''During the course of investigation, three suspects were brought for questioning by Police in connection with their involvement in cross-border narco-weapon smuggling.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''During sustained questioning and upon their disclosure, five packets of Brown Sugar like substance weighing approx. 5.5 kgs have been recovered from the home courtyard of one of the accused.<br />''&nbsp; &nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, All the three accused have been arrested and further investigation in the matter has been initiated.</span><br />
