<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir,  Union Panchayati Raj Ministry has conferred Baramulla district for effectively implementing intensive and structured exercise for planning to Gram Panchayat Zaloora of Block Tujjar Sharief Panchayat for certain parameters of convergence between Panchayati Raj Institutions and concerned line departments.<br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports, Ministry of Panchayati Raj Government of India has conferred Gram Panchayat Development Plan Award to Baramulla district in the valley for best planning and performance at Gram Panchayat level in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />''<br />''While congratulating the role played by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Institutions, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo has said that the convergence strategy adopted by the district for effective implementation of different rural development schemes has enabled the district to create sustainable and durable infrastructure in rural areas and strengthened the livelihood resource base for the rural poor. </span><br />
