In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan army again resorted to mortar shelling and firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Naushera sector of Rajouri district on Thursday. <br/><br/>Defence sources said, Pakistani troops started unprovoked shelling in Naushera sector around 2 pm targeting forward defence locations and civilian population, prompting an effective retaliation from Indian troops. Intermittent exchanges continued for about 2 hours.<br/><br/>There is no report of any casualties or damage on the Indian side. Pakistani forces used small, medium and automatic arms and heavy mortars in firing. <br/><br/>Earlier also Pakistani forces had shelled in the same sector last night.
