In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces resorted to shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Poonch district last night. Defence sources said, Pakistani troops started unprovoked firing targeting Indian posts and civilian areas around 8 PM. Army troops guarding the borderline retaliated to the firing and the exchange of fire continued, when reports last came in. There is no report of any loss of life or injury to the Indian side.
